RUNDU – Residents in the Kavango Region have been warned to prepare for veld fires, which usually start in August with its dry and windy conditions.
“We should expect lots of fires in August, and we request everybody to be cautious,” said Rundu District Forestry Officer Mwiikinghi Jonas.
