KARAS hosted and won the Sport and Fun Project held at Keetmanshoop over the weekend.
The tri-series – which aims to identify and develop young talented footballers from the age of eight to fifteen – also featured Oranjemund and Rosh Pinah football academies. Young boys from u/9, u/11, u/13 and u/15 level competed against each other.The hosts walked away victors in all the categories. Many of the people who attended the event were impressed with the talent on display, organisers said.Rosh Pinah is set to host the next edition of the series, sponsored primarily by Seal Construction Engineers. Other sponsors included Nuwe Welkom Spar, MTC, Namibia Dairies, Namibia Beverages and Irish Construction and Cooling.
