The Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Dr Abraham Iyambo, is in Chile for a five-day official visit to the South American country’s fisheries and aquaculture areas.
Special areas of interest that will be covered during the visit will include Chile’s fisheries administration, aquaculture development with special attention to salmoniculture, fisheries control system with special mention of its satellite systems and sanitary aspects with special attention to quality certification. During his visit Iyambo is scheduled to meet Chile’s undersecretary of fisheries and the national director of fisheries.The minister is expected back in the country at the weekend.Meanwhile, the Norwegian minister of fisheries and coastal affairs, Svein Ludvigsen is expected in the country early next week.Ludvigsen will hold official talks with his counterpart, Minister Iyambo.During his visit Iyambo is scheduled to meet Chile’s undersecretary of fisheries and the national director of fisheries.The minister is expected back in the country at the weekend.Meanwhile, the Norwegian minister of fisheries and coastal affairs, Svein Ludvigsen is expected in the country early next week.Ludvigsen will hold official talks with his counterpart, Minister Iyambo.
