ATHENS – International Olympic Committee member Sergey Bubka will head the coordination commission which will monitor preparations for the inaugural 2010 Youth Olympics in Singapore, the IOC said yesterday.
Bubka, a former Olympic pole vault champion and a member of the IOC’s disciplinary commission, will lead an eight-member commission which includes IOC members, an international federations representative and an athletes’ representative.
