A MALE prisoner was killed in the Windhoek Central Prison yesterday – allegedly at the hands of two other inmates.
Confirming the incident last night, Deputy Commissioner Silvanus Nghishidimba described it as ‘horrific’. According to him, it took place between 13h00 and 14h00 yesterday. The suspects allegedly used a sharp metal object to kill the deceased. He said the Police were still trying to establish what led to the fatal fight. The suspects will be charged with murder and appear in court today or tomorrow.
