A FEW hours after turning himself in, hit-and-run suspect Hendrik Esterhuyse (28) was released on bail of N$5 000 following a successful bail application in the Keetmanshoop Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Police were searching for Esterhuyse in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed two Keetmanshoop residents on Saturday evening.
