BEIRUT, Lebanon – Israeli helicopter gunships and tanks fired on Hezbollah guerrilla positions in southern Lebanon yesterday, killing one guerrilla, Lebanese security officials reported.
Hezbollah said two Israeli soldiers were killed in the cross-border exchanges, but the group’s al-Manar television station gave no further details.
