Hard-Earned Goods Are Stolen

Hard-Earned Goods Are Stolen

I AM a student born in Namibia, who stays in the UK in Nottingham.

We come here as working and holiday visitors but today it’s like we come here and work hard for nothing. After I completed my Working and Holiday visa I became a student.Sometimes we work part time to pay our school fees and our bills in UK but also save some money to buy something for our future e.g.cars, electronic equipment/goods and more. And then we send these back to Namibia/home but we never get our stuff. That means it must be stolen by our brothers and sisters who are working at Walvis Bay.I feel totally wretched about the fact that our own country brothers and sisters have that kind of attitude, to their own family.I think Namibia it’s a country of peace and freedom. We are here abroad to help each other and look forward to build the youth so as to decrease the crime and unemployment in our beautiful country, and to be part of something in the world. To the Namibian Government it’s a good opportunity to send our youth groups to UK to get well educated to change Namibia’s economy in future. My father went to Walvis Bay to get my car with my stuff inside but when he got the key to get my car my stuff had been stolen. He went to the Walvis Bay Police for help but it was for nothing and the goods that were in my car were valued at about N$30 000.I just want the Namibian Government to control those brothers and sisters in Walvis Bay for they are badly behaved.I am not the first person to have this kind of problem. The Namibian Government must react to this kind of theft. We all know who did this and we feel bad about working hard for nothing.Charles N Karumendu Nottingham (UK)After I completed my Working and Holiday visa I became a student.Sometimes we work part time to pay our school fees and our bills in UK but also save some money to buy something for our future e.g.cars, electronic equipment/goods and more. We all know who did this and we feel bad about working hard for nothing.
