BRAVE Warriors’ skipper Collin Benjamin has been ruled out of football action at his German outfit Hamburg SV following an injury to his left knee last Saturday.
Benjamin captained Namibia’s Brave Warriors in an international friendly against Swaziland at the Sam Nujoma Stadium, in which he picked up a knee injury in the second half.According to the Associated Press (AP), Hamburg SV defender Benjamin will be out of action for several months.He damaged ligaments in his left knee in a match that ended in a one-all draw. ‘Collin will be out for several months,’ Hamburg’s doctor Nikolai Linewitsch confirmed. – Nampa
