THE Namibia Broadcasting Corporation’s Board of Directors yesterday announced the appointment of Mathew Gowaseb as Acting Director General (DG) from May 26 until further notice.
Acting Chairperson of the board, Frieda Shimbuli, said in a media statement that the DG position remains vacant.Gowaseb takes over from Andrew Kanime, whose extended secondment term has ended.Gowaseb has worked in the private sector, the civil service, and has extensive background in marketing, corporate communications, advertising and publishing. – Nampa
