Govt approves US$1m for Namibians to study abroad

CABINET has given the approval for the transfer of more than US$1 million from the Namibian Human Resource Endowment Fund to the Africa America Institute to allow 39 students to study abroad.

At present, 30 Namibian students are studying under the Government Scholarship and Training Programme in the United States (11) and South Africa (19) with funds from the Namibian Human Resource Endowment Fund.
