Goodbye Mr Good Looks

Goodbye Mr Good Looks

GREAT looks – check. Hulk Hogan type sexy body- check. Ability to bore the hell out of you – triple check. Sense of humour – what are you talking about? And so what do you get? Kenya’s BBA housemate Jeremy.

I’m sorry but as much as this 22-year-old Kenyan lit up the fire in the BB house, especially where food was involved, brotherman was a bore most of the time, like 88 per cent. This is the Revolution Jeremy, and a sense of humour in this case is more essential than a delectable six-pack.Jeremy was the latest to get the boot from the BBA Revolution. He doesn’t do long-distance relationships. The question now is, will the love he found in Emma’s arms prompt him to change his philosophy or not? Read on and find out what Jeremy revealed to The Namibian yesterday:What was the highlight of your BBA experience? When Keri Hilson came through, that was just awesome, it was really a highlight for me.And the lowest point? My nomination and then eviction, and also finding out that Emma and I were both up for eviction.Your toned physique got quite a bit of attention from the ladies. How long have you been working on that six-pack?I can’t remember that, but I think since I was 14. I like working out.On Sunday night when IK asked you to remove your shirt, you were quite hesitant, in fact, you didn’t want to do it at all. Why?I’m not too big on showing my body off to a large crowd. In the house it was different because the audience was not so big, although there are all those cameras around. Let me just say that I’m a bit shy when it comes to huge crowds. All the time before you were nominated, you never worried much about entertaining. However during your last week in the house, you realised there was a need for you to entertain, socialise more and pull pranks. Why did you wait until then to entertain? I don’t know how much I did in the last week, but as for the pranks, I was really bored that week. As you know Big Brother was also not around that week, I was really just bored. When it was announced that you were the next housemate to leave the house, you looked like you got shot with a stun gun. Did it come as a surprise that you were the one leaving? It sort of did. I actually thought I had a better chance in the house, but I guess Africa thought otherwise and that is why I am the one that left the house. You spent most of your time in the house wearing that weird black thing on your head. What was that and why did you wear it?I have no idea why I wore it, but one thing I can tell you is that it fascinated me. I used to enjoy wearing it, it was just exciting. You know as a child you would wear a costume and be so fascinated, well it was the same with that black thing. It just fascinated me.You and Emma were like an old married couple from the very beginning. Do you think it was your lack of chemistry that got you voted out of the house?I don’t know. In the house we were very natural, but maybe Africa thought it was too much. All I can say is that our relationship was real for the both of us.You and Emma’s relationship seemed to revolve a lot around food. What role does food play in your relationships? Is food a comfort blanket for you?I don’t know. What I did is that whenever I went to get food for myself, then I would also get for Emma. I figured that if I’m going to get food for myself, then I might as well get it for the person closest to me. I mean when it was time to dish up we would all rush to make sure we got the best plates for ourselves, so I was just looking out for Emma in this case.Do you think that your involvement with Emma is partly the reason you were nominated and now evicted?I think we as a couple were a threat to the other house-mates, and as for the African viewers, maybe they just didn’t just want to see too much of a relationship in the house.Since you said you are not big on long-distance relationships, does this mean that this is the end of Jemma?I can’t really say, but like I said, I’m not very big on long-distance relationships. It wouldn’t be a very feasible relationship, therefore we might not pursue it.Do you really think Emma sings well?I do, I really think she sings well.Emma and Kristal never got along very well. Why do you think that is?I’m not sure where that started off. Maybe at some point, Emma suspected that Kristal might have had something to do with her nomination earlier on in the game, but I think whatever was going on between the two of them was based on rumours because of the alliances that were going on in the house. However, I am not too sure. Were you attracted to Kristal? Not at all.Who will you stay in touch with?My boy Quinn, Kevin, Emma, Elizabeth, and probably all the other housemates, but the ones I mention by name are the one’s I am sure I will stay in touch with. What do you think of Eddie’s pranks and do you think that he is perhaps overdoing it?No man, in the beginning I wasn’t a big fan of Eddie, but as I got to know him, I realised that he is a great guy, nice sense of humour, and I actually like and enjoy the pranks. As long as he doesn’t get too personal with the pranks then it’s fine with me.Who were your least favourite housemates and why?For obvious reasons right now, Nkenna is my least favourite housemate. First of all, she instigated my nomination and secondly, she put Emma up. There’s really nothing to like about that.Who do you think will win and who do you want to win?For my own biased reason, I want Emma to win. However, I think it is between Kevin and Eddy. What do you plan to do now that you are out of the house? What is next for Jeremy?Jeremy is going back to school, enjoying life as it comes, hoping that something good comes out of BBA. I am basically just going to go back and enjoy my normal life. And if you see me around, please don’t be shy to wave.
