good track record and most of the superstars of yesteryear are products of Augustineum High School.Whether the current learners and teaching staff can jealously defend that record of the Augustineum of those days is something to be seen,” Moetie said.On the other hand, Ella du Plessis has excellent athletes and rugby players and whether the learners are still devoted sportsmen and women will be confirmed on Saturday.Netball in Namibia has been plagued by a number of controversies, which makes it extremely difficult for the sport to attract funding from local businesses.”We hope the FNB Netball Classic Clashes will continue to develop young netball players at school level which will carry them through and transform them into National Players representing Namibia at international netball scenes,” Moetie stated.Pupils, parents and the communities of the two schools are expected to come in their thousands to support their favourite school in this exciting event, which culminates in an award ceremony afterwards.Moetie said that the matches will be the final FNB Classic Clashes for the pilot phase of the FNB schools’ sport development project, “which according to the feedback received from all schools, various communities and sport reporters that the FNB Classic Clashes was the first of its kind and a resounding success”.”We at FNB will roll out the next edition of the FNB Classic Clashes to other regions as well and we wish to involve more schools in this highly successful FNB Classic Clashes school development sport project,” he said.”We, at FNB, would like to wish
