THE Police at Oshakati have found the remains of two people who were reported missing after a raft capsized in a flood-filled pan (oshana) in March.
Aili Samwel Mumbala (27) and Jason Shinyemba (17) were presumed drowned in the Oshekedhihya pan on the evening of Thursday, March 5.Oshana Police Liaison Officer Sergeant Christina Fonsecka said yesterday that villagers fishing in the pan found the remains and called the Police.The remains were retrieved and relatives identified them as the two missing people.According to Fonsecka, the Police have also found the remains of a third person who has not been identified yet.Shinyemba was buried at Oshekedhiya village on Friday, while Mumbala will be buried tomorrow.
