A 32-year-old farmworker died after ending up under the wheels of a tractor in the Ogongo Constituency on Saturday, the Police reported this week.
Seblon Gwamumbala fell from the tractor after accidentally putting it in reverse gear. He apparently tried to stop the tractor at a mahangu granary gate when the accident happened.Gwamumbala was not in possession of a valid driver’s licence.* An accident on the main road between Henties Bay and Usakos claimed the life of 72-year-old Paul Andries Luttig on Friday morning.Police report that Luttig and his wife were the only occupants of their car when he lost control of the vehicle.The car overturned about 30 km from Henties Bay. Mrs Luttig survived the accident with slight injuries.
