THE Ministry of Education has announced that Grade 10 Junior Secondary Certificate and Grade 12 Higher Level results will be released on Thursday.
Ordinary level results will be released on January 18.This year, 43 853 Grade 10 candidates – 33 428 full-time students and 10 425 part-time – registered for the Junior Secondary Certificate. Only 10 610 of 52 529 Grade 12 candidates wrote one or more subjects on Higher Level. According to the ministry, the number of higher level candidates increased by 13% from last year. The results will be published in The Namibian on Thursday. The results will also be available on several websites: that of the Directorate of National Examinations and Assessment at www.dnea.gov.na, or the site of the Ministry of Education at www.moe.gov.na. Namcol students can see their results on Namcol’s website at www.namcol.edu.Candidates who wish to receive their results via SMS should text the name of the examination followed by their examination number to 55755- for example: JSC 345W643004. SMSes cost N$3. The SMS service as well as websites and newspapers containing the results will only be available on Thursday after midnight, said the ministry. Candidates are urged to have their candidate numbers readily available to access their results.Regional offices will only supply results during office hours.
