End of the road for Brangelina?

End of the road for Brangelina?

THE rumour’s been confirmed, but the facts haven’t.
Is it finally over? After months of speculation, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are about to go separate ways according to foreign reports.

And this time, sources quoted in those reports say, it really is the split for the Pitts.Hollywood’s most glamorous and powerful couple are said to have been in talks with lawyers to agree on a US$366 million split deal.Legal papers, which the pair are said to have signed last week, reveal they plan to share their massive fortune equally as well as share custody of their six children. While the agreement will give them joint custody, the children, three of whom are adopted, will live with their mother, overseas reports claimed at the weekend. The news comes after months of speculation that the couple, who are not married, were drifting apart. But friends of the couple are arguing that such reports are premature and that Pitt and Jolie remain in love.People.com reported today a source close to the couple was saying: ‘Everything is fine’ and another source was quoted as saying reports of them splitting were ‘false’.These sources claimed the couple’s recent separations were caused by work commitments: Jolie in New York for a Vanity Fair magazine photo shoot, while Pitt remained in Los Angeles to take part in George Clooney’s Haiti telethon. However in contrast to these denials, Britain’s News Of The World reported preparations for their break-up began in December when they visited a Los Angeles legal firm to begin thrashing out a deal.Last week the National Enquirer claimed the couple’s relationship had ended after a furious row at a New York restaurant this month. The couple have three adopted children – Maddox (8), Pax, (6), and Zahara (5), and three biological children Shiloh (3) and 17-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne.- Chicago Sunday Times; Daily Telegraph (Australia)
