ALLOW me space in your highly recommended newspaper to talk about corruption.These past 15 years of independence have been years of planting corruption and maladministration in public affairs.

These were the years of promoting corrupt comrades to enrich themselves with State resources. There have been attacks against media, journalists and civil society as a means to undermine their duties and responsibilities.My concern now is about the newly established anti-corruption commission.How will it be successful, if corruption in our country is for comrades? Are they not comrades appointed to protect the reputation of corrupt politicians? There have been so many commissions of inquiry to probe allegation of maladministration in parastatals like DBC, Katutura Single Quarters and many others – what have these commissions done?
