Council of Traditional Leaders chairperson Immanuel /Gâseb has warned his members about selling drought relief for alcohol.
He was speaking at the 25th meeting of the council of traditional leaders on Monday.
“I urged traditional authorities to use the drought relief food sustainably for household consumption and not for trade of alcohol,” he said.
/Gâseb called on traditional leadership to follow their succession plans instead of heading to the courts.
The meeting was opening by president Nangolo Mbumba.
