Disgust About N$168 House Loss

Disgust About N$168 House Loss

PLEASE allow me a space in your newspaper.

I am disgusted at the idea that a human being can sell another person’s dwelling place for a mere N$1800.00 From the story in the newspaper its obvious that the whole thing was not dealt with in an ethical manner. Reason with me.1. How does an employee of a law firm that is auctioning the property buy a house at a price of N$1800.00, that is obviously worth more than it’s being auctioned for and still claim that she was not aware of the story behind it? We all know that files are available for her and any other employee at the firm to view.2. Is the amount of N$168, really necessary to sell another human being’s home? Not just a house, this is the primary residence of this person and to top it all this person is unemployed, has a family to support etc.3. When Melanie offered the owner of the property to buy it back from her at an amount of N$20 000.00 how did she think she was going to pay for it? She was unable to settle N$168, how about N$20 000.00?4. Was there nothing else in the house that they could take to auction e.g. pots, plates anything else but the house.5. The owner of the butchery, can she really say that there are no other people that owe her more money then an amount of N$168.Is she planning on taking them to the lawyers too?6. The law firm, is this the way they just dispose of (because this was obviously not a sale) people’s property and of all people to their employees. This kind of thing cannot be allowed in our society. We have enough to deal with as it is.People with power should not manipulate things to favour them but must try by all means to assist those in need and not worsen their situation.I cannot even think how does Melanie goes to sleep knowing that she is N$25 000 dollars richer because she made a quick buck on the old lady around the corner.Just remember everyone out there, what goes around comes around and every dog has it’s day.Anon Via e-mailNote: Real name and address provided. – EdReason with me.1.
