A TRIAL-AWAITING prisoner broke his neck when he jumped over a wall at the Oranjemund Police cells on Thursday.
Police spokesperson Stephan Nuuyi said Fazel Wentzel (age not given) was taken to the local hospital but was later transferred to Windhoek for treatment, as he had broken his third neck vertebra.
