HOME Affairs Ministry have just proven their incompetency very well ! The country ran out of passports a few months back and it takes the home affairs months to truthfully tell the public what the situation really is?
Doesn’t the minister owe it to the public to explain what led to he whole dilemma? The lame explanation they recently gave is just bogus. To top it all off, it’s as if the Minister of Home Affairs doesn’t care. It probably didn’t affect her, so why would she care?Thousands of people have been waiting for travelling documents, only to be told, there are no green passports and there’s nothing they can do. Or they are told a lie that the brown passports are good for travel all over the world, only to be told by the respective embassies that they are actually useless.Thousands of people had to cancel their travel plans, just because people in the Ministry of Home Affairs don’t know how to do their job right. How does someone watch passports finish? This is a serious problem and I wonder how it’s going to be dealt with. But no, this is Namibia. Here, such lapses are petty issues.
