Damian Da Silva was the A division winner of the individual stableford golf competition at the Windhoek Golf Club over the weekend.
Da Silva won the A division with 40 points, followed by Bertus Damon on 39, Stefanus Reitz on 34 and Wessel Louw on 31 points.
Ian Wood won the B division with 39 points after beating Fanie Oosthuizen on a count-out.
Monty Rukoro came third on 37 points after beating Paul Grobler and Paul Adkins on count-outs.
Manfred Bledou won the C division on 37 points followed by Justin Mwamba on 35, who beat Bonifatius Paulino on a count-out, with Gustav Jung coming fourth on 34 and Sponks Mohale fifth on 32 points.
Evelyn Paulino won the women’s division on 37 points, followed by Ester Emvulaon 36 and Sesilia Nkoshi on 35 points.
The nearest-to-the-pin winners were Hylton Villet on the third hole, Bertus Damon on the ninth hole, Wynand Slabbert on the 13th hole and Wessel Louw on the 17th hole.
The competition, which was sponsored by Dstv Namibia, saw a total of 44 players in action.
