CONSOLIDATED Sugar Industries (CSI) last week awarded five one-carat diamonds collectively valued at N$300 000 to five of its most valued customers for their loyalty and support.
CSI is Namibia’s largest importer of bulk sugar and the largest distributor of packed sugar. The companies receiving the diamonds were awarded based on the volume of sugar they had purchased over the past two years.CSI said it hopes the diamonds will be put to good use: ‘Rewarding an exceptional store, an outstanding employee, division or department in their group or as a donation to charity, in kind or in cash. ‘There are so many people in need in this country and it would be delightful to see the diamonds helping those who need it most.’The five winners were Namibia Beverages, Metro Namibia, Shoprite Namibia, Dharani Traders and Wecke & Voigts National Wholesale.
