Congrats To Ohangwena

I WOULD like to extend words of congratulations to the Ohangwena Education Region for the second anniversary of the annual prize-giving ceremony that took place on the 30th March 2007.

Such an event has not only cultivated a culture of competition but also a spirit of hard work among the schools in the region. It is with pride that our region emulates what happens at the national level and for that matter schools, whether primary or secondary, should incorporate prize-giving ceremonies in their annual calendars.I would also like to praise the Ohangwena circuit for having its second prize-giving ceremony.Hats off also to all those who received awards at these ceremonies because you have paved a way for many of us to put in extra effort in whatever academic or extra curricula activities we are engaged in.Let me advise the regions, circuits and schools to please invite the media every time such an event takes place.This will not only put our regions, circuits or schools on the Namibian map but will also serve as an eye-opener to those who have not been doing it.Viva Education!
