WINDHOEK – Namibia Premier League (NPL) clubs are notably absent from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) administration course currently underway at Soccer House.
With invitations having been extended to the elite league clubs by the office of the Namibia Football Association (NFA) acting secretary general, Barry Rukoro, only Civics, Fysal Oshakati City and African Stars are represented at the five-day administration course. A visibly disappointed Rukoro warned that club administrators and coaches who do not meet the International Federation of Football Association’s (Fifa) standards will have six points deducted at the beginning of every football season. He said clubs could be relegated for failing to meet the required standards.Despite the absence of the nine premier league clubs, the first- and second-division sides have shown interest in the administration course, said to be crucial to the administration of football clubs in the country.CAF Instructor Jacques Malie from Mauritius is taking the participants through a series of topics on how to administrate a club successfully.NampaA visibly disappointed Rukoro warned that club administrators and coaches who do not meet the International Federation of Football Association’s (Fifa) standards will have six points deducted at the beginning of every football season. He said clubs could be relegated for failing to meet the required standards.Despite the absence of the nine premier league clubs, the first- and second-division sides have shown interest in the administration course, said to be crucial to the administration of football clubs in the country.CAF Instructor Jacques Malie from Mauritius is taking the participants through a series of topics on how to administrate a club successfully.Nampa
