‘NAMIBIA and Climate Change – Local Action with a Global Impact’ is Namibia’s national slogan for this year’s World Environment Day.
Namibia has declared this week as environmental week to coincide with World Environment Day on June 5.
The main event in Namibia will be held at the Leo Shoopala Hall in Oshakati on Friday.A Climate Change Youth Symposium will be held tomorrow to create a platform for young people to address climate change challenges.In addition, awareness of the Environmental Management Act of 2007 will be raised through school competitions and the screening of a documentary on the Act.
