Civics into top spot as City win twice

CIVICS and Oshakati City were in emphatic form as they garnered maximum points in their premiership ties at the weekend, which also saw victories for Ramblers and Tigers.

Civics have now moved into top spot with 13 points from their six matches and have scored 15 goals, the highest in the league so far. Civics slashed Eleven Arrows to pieces at the Kuisebmond Stadium yesterday when they recorded a terrific 4-0 win, after they managed to put away Blue Waters with a 2-0 win the previous day.Civics strongman Tugela Tuyeni, midfielder Brian Brendell and strikers Floris Diergaardt and the new kid on the block, Lionel van Schalkwyk, all scored for Civics yesterday.No-nonsense defender and captain Amos Shiyuka produced his best form on Saturday since returning for the first time to the side after a long absence due to work commitments.Tuyeni and Diergaardt also scored the previous day against
