CHINESE President Hu Jintao arrives in Windhoek today for a brief 24-hour stopover on his African tour of eight nations.

Hu and his delegation of 130 people will be given a red carpet welcome with a military parade and gun salutes at the Hosea Kutako International Airport, where President Hifikepunye Pohamba and the Namibian Cabinet and foreign diplomats will receive him.
