The Namibia Champion of Champions Singles Bowls tournament for men and women will be held at the Swakopmund Bowling Club this weekend.
The top men and women singles players in the country have proven themselves at club level and will now battle it out on the bowling green for top honours at the tournament that is being sponsored by Africa-Hydro Blasting & Mining Supplies.
The winners will also represent Namibia at the World Bowls Singles Champion of Champions tournament later this year where they will compete against other singles national champions from all over the world.
The players that will be in action are as follows:
Men: AJ Visser (Swakopmund BC), Waylon Wentzel (Eros BC), Karl Hartmann (Windhoek BC), Christo Steenkamp (Trustco United BC), Christo de Beer (Tsumeb BC), and Gordon Damster (Namib Park Bowling Club).
Women: Diana Viljoen (Swakopmund Bowling Club), Amanda Steenkamp (Eros Bowling Club), Truda Meaden (Windhoek Bowling Club), Anjuleen Viljoen (Trustco United Bowling Club), Cindy Weinrebe (Tsumeb Bowling Club), Elzaan de Vries (Namib Park Bowling Club).
