JAKARTA – A car plunged from a parking lot on the eighth floor of a building in the Indonesian capital yesterday killing the driver who had dozed off with his foot on the accelerator, a security guard at the building said.

The driver, who was waiting for his employer, crashed through the parking lot’s metal railing after he accidentally stepped on the accelerator with the engine running, the guard said.
