ALLOW me space in your esteemed newspaper to air my views on the current SSC-Avid saga.It is shocking to learn that people who are entrusted with enormous government responsibilities are now betraying the trust of the poor Namibian people.
I am specifically referring to Paulus Kapia and his allies in crime. Kapia used to make a lot of noise about patriotism and he even went to the extent of making hate speeches against foreigners and attacking judges.Today he is implicated in a scheme which sent millions to foreign countries. Is that patriotism? Kapia should not be spared on this saga; he should be dealt with seriously.Let our judiciary show him that they are competent enough to send him behind bars, they are not weak as he portrayed them.He should reap what he is sowing. And we have not yet forgotten the blacklist he promised the nation, when will he make it available? Due to comradeship our millions have now disappeared into thin air.Jobs-for-comrades is based on self-enrichment schemes, and you turn to call it black empowerment when incompetent people are given top positions in our parastatal companies. This is a wake-up call.Jobs-for-comrades cannot and will not work.It will only bring our economy to its knees.Mutu Bakubwenene OndangwaKapia used to make a lot of noise about patriotism and he even went to the extent of making hate speeches against foreigners and attacking judges.Today he is implicated in a scheme which sent millions to foreign countries. Is that patriotism?
