AN 18-year-old cattle herder was seriously injured last week when either a mortar bomb or an RPG-7 projectile exploded near the Namibian Defence Force’s Oshivelo Military Base in the north.
The National Society for Human Rights (NSHR) reported that Paulus Hanofre had to be rushed about 100 km to a Tsumeb hospital to be treated for injuries to his left leg and knee.
