THE Bimbo Tjihero football cup will he held on August 22 and 23 at the Khomasdal Stadium. Various teams from all the regions are invited to compete. The registration fees are N$750 per team.
The winners are set to receive N$10 000, trophy and gold medals, with the runners-up in line for N$6 000. The two semi-final losers will each get N$2 000. The draw will be done at the Bethold Himumuine Primary School in Katutura on August 19, while the rules and regulations for the competition will be distributed on August 18. The objective of the race is for humanity and to honour the Kings of Caprivi as traditional leaders for their leadership capabilities. It is also aimed at promoting sport in the region and to raise funds for the people living with disabilities, the orphans and vulnarable children. Winners will receive medals and certificates.
