Big Brother Africa: Ofu’s an ‘ambassador’!

LATEST news out of Nigeria is that BBA 2 housemate Ofunneka has been made an ambassador for a project called the ‘Heart of Africa’.

It follows a meeting with her country’s Minister of Information. She is also working hard on setting up a non-governmental organisation.This was reported on ofunneka.com and also in an interview TVSA Editor Tashi Tagg did with Ofunemama last week.The project aims to promote Nigeria’s image.During their interview, Tagg also asked Ofunneka about her plans for the future: “Well right now, apart from the Heart Of Africa project, I’m working on I’m putting together an NGO and I want to work in entertainment in terms of stage and presenting shows and I want to do my Masters in Counselling Psychology.I’m hoping I can get something to do with Unicef or Unesco, the UN in general, so these are all the things I intend to do but right now I’m just focusing on what I need to do with Heart of Africa ‘cos I need to get something out to them by next (this) week – everything else I’m taking a step at a time.”TATIANA A number of BBA fans and TV viewers in general were in contact yesterday after the ‘Richiana are over’ article.Many are concerned about what’s happened to Tatiana, noticed discrepancies between what Richard and his father said and what Tati said, as did I, and are once again wanting news on the ‘Untouchables’.I really don’t have cut and dried answers for you on ‘Richiana’.For today, let me just say that I don’t for one minute believe the claims by Richard’s father, Vincent, or Richard, that Tati has been phoning Richard.Well certainly not in the way the two men from the Bezuidenhout ‘house of honour’ appear to imply.It just doesn’t add up, it doesn’t make sense and it’s not in character – and when I talk about character, I’m talking about Tatiana.Even the father and son’s comments and what Tati had to say: all quoted in the same article in ‘City Press’ – are contradictory.I think it’s just another Bezuidenhout smokescreen.But I do fully buy that Richard has been contacting Tati surreptitiously, by phone and e-mail.And there are those who are not particularly thrilled by that.It should be remembered that Richard IS back with his wife Ricki now, and that she is his handler, manager and wife.It’s also worth noting that, in terms of her relationship with Richard, Tatiana has been consistent in what she’s said both inside and outside the house!! And that’s been “marriage is a serious thing” and that if Richard had to go and reconcile with his wife he should.Even in the house, Tati was the one putting on the brakes when, among others, Richard, talked of “taking time out” from his marriage to try and work out what he really wanted.So, peeps, it’s up to you to make of it what you will!
