An Umbrella For Human Rights

An Umbrella For Human Rights

I HAVE a problem with people who are saying that the (NSHR) Executive Director Phil ya Nangoloh has served the human rights position for a long period of time, and he must resign.

But there are those Ministers who have served from 1990 up to now.
What about the former president Sam Nujoma, who was president of Swapo for more than 44 years but people are not talking about it. So we from NSHR are happy with our Director, just like Swapo supporters were happy with Sam Nujoma when he was president of Swapo. There are those who are against our organisation and its staff. NSHR is a great umbrella under which all people can find shelter.
Every day we receive people with different human rights violations at our offices.
Namibians should put trust in NSHR, as it is there to promote peace and tranquillity, the rule of law and justice for all.
