Amushelelo yet to approach Swartbooi about joining LPM

Political activist Michael Amushelelo is yet to approach the Landless People’s Movement (LPM) with his intention of joining the party.

Amushelelo on Thursday announced his new choice for a political home after he left the Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters last week.

“So as of today, I’ll be a member of LPM, and I’ll continue doing what I’ve done in my previous roles in other capacities that I’ve served. So, as of now, you can officially call me a member of LPM. That is the party that I’ve joined, and that is the party that I’ll be voting for,” he said.

Amushelelo said he will be voting for Bernadus Swartbooi to become the next president.

Meanwhile, his friend, Gregory Cloete, has told The Namibian that he has also joined LPM.
