Advice For Kauandenge

ALLOW me space in your daily newspaper to register my comments and advice on Mr Kauandenge’s recent political marathon.

While I fully understand and respect his freedom of association, including joining a political party of his choice, I think the recent trend depicted by Kauandenge has gone beyond expectation. I got to know him as a member of the DTA, later as the Secretary General of Nudo and then as a rejoined member of the DTA.Most recently he is reportedly a member of the RP.How long will it take him before he finds a party or platform through which he will advance political ambitions for the benefit of the Namibian people as he claims? If Mr Kauandenge is not going to urgently consider revising and reforming his political vision and adjust his political objectives accordingly, he may become the biggest embarrassment in party-political failures.At his age, he should settle down and concentrate on building himself a strong political base that will earn him loyalty, political stability and trust within a particular party structure.If he is not careful, he may lose his political mindset and this will cost him a political career and tarnish his image as an emerging politician.The trend in terms of Mr Kauadenge’s movement from one party to another and back and onto the next will consequently destroy his political life.He may simultaneously lose popular support and loyalty from members of any party, as he will be known as a marathon politician who will be expected to leave at any time.If Mr Kauandenge has never taken advice from people who are not members of his former parties, or from those who are not members of his recent party, he should take this one for the first time in order to survive political races of the 21st century.P T Nambahu OndangwaI got to know him as a member of the DTA, later as the Secretary General of Nudo and then as a rejoined member of the DTA.Most recently he is reportedly a member of the RP.How long will it take him before he finds a party or platform through which he will advance political ambitions for the benefit of the Namibian people as he claims?
