A Man Who Made A Difference

I WAS extremely shocked when I received an e-mail from a former parliamentary colleague informing me that Dr Mose Tjitendero had passed away.

His passing is not only a great loss to Namibia, but the world and those people in it, who, like me, have had the benefit of his inspiring leadership and teaching. I believe most people can look back on their lives and identify a few individuals who have had a monumental influence on their lives.Dr Tjitendero made such an impact on my life and I am eternally grateful that I was fortunate enough to benefit from his teaching, guidance and insight.He taught me a lot about tolerance and human nature and although I have been living half way across the world for about six years now, his teachings continue to guide me in everything I do.Dr Tjitendero was and will always be a hero to me.May he rest in eternal peace, and may Sandra and his children find comfort in the knowledge that his legacy lives in the hearts of many all over the world.Goodbye Dr Tjitendero, until we meet again!
