A Long, Costly And Risky Commute

I’M a 22-year-old and started commuting a year ago (from Rehoboth).

Herewith I want to invite my fellow commuters to join in with their views and opinions on this topic. When I started commuting, a quarter of my salary went into transport.However, things have changed.Since last year, the price increase of petrol has raised quite a few times and due to this increase transport prices are claiming more than half of my salary! To accommodate these increases we must accommodate more people in the vehicle, thus the ride is very unpleasant and uncomfortable.My question to you the public is whether there a need for a law to be established to prohibit vehicle owners to misuse the ability to transport people to and from there work place.And what happens when there is an accident – we are not insured and we pay so much money for transport.Is there not a need to insure passengers to cover them when something like that happens.I mean our lives are in their hands? Also, should companies give transport allowance to the people working and travelling so far from their homes?
