A Born-Free Is Unimpressed

NAMIBIA in the year 2030 should be developed beyond imagination, but is this really possible with the kind of leadership this country has?

If the politics of a country are not fair and just there is no way in development can be achieved. If we as a nation want to see our vision of Namibia implemented we will have to fight for what we truly believe in which in my opinion is a democratic Namibia free from political instability. Our hope as the children of this country has and will always be that our dreams and hopes will not be crushed by our elders. It happens that in the past few months before elections we as the young blood of this country are having doubts whether or not to cast our votes, because we have a feeling of anxiety as to whether our voices will be heard or will our life’s dream to cast our vote be a waste of our time. All the political parties now in this last two months leading up to the elections have to show as why our vote is essential to upholding our country’s liberty and struggle for independence.I would now want to extend my hand and thank all the Presidents of all our political parties for what they have done so far, even though some of us, like me, are not entirely impressed by what has been achieved over the last eighteen years. My hope is that we find a solution to our political crisis, because we do have one.Timmy MunikasekeVia e-mail
