Food For Thought
*OFFICE of the Prime Minister, if ‘struggle kids’ are to be given jobs GRN must think of one ministry. I am referring to the Ministry of Defence. I believe that they will fit there. Other ministries will find it difficult to handle them. The nation has seen how they don’t adhere to instructions. They rather expect everybody to listen to them. Minister of Defence, please take them all in your ministry. Hard work is needed rather than demands.

*THE same people who are failing the country to prosper are the ones who want better salaries and status. They must first put the country on the path of prosperity then talk of status and high salaries.

*DEAR Namibians, ‘Open File’ of 21 April 2013 about minor children from Angola in Windhoek was an insult to the Angolan people. Namibians should think before talking. How many Namibians went in exile with immigration documents? Now that you have gained independence you want Angolans to produce documents? Think twice. Angolans were suffering because of us. Viva Angola, viva Namibia! Food for the elders.
*I HAVE a big concern. I want to know if all the parastatals, including the City Police department of Windhoek Municipality is only for one tribe? It’s only one tribe who are promoted, even after Kanime said no more promotions. I really want to know what is the ACC doing? Please investigate the City Police.
*MINISTER of Veterans Affairs, please do something for the children of ex-Plan fighters who lost their lives during the battles of the liberation struggle. Some of the ex-plan fighters are old and are suffering.

*THUMBS up to Gazza and The Dogg. You may be competitors in the industry but not enemies. Well done and keep it that way.
*DOESN’T NWR have company investigators? Do you want us to leave this company for good? How can NWR staff serve the clients while they are unhappy? Should we show them a serious face or a smile?
*G4S, please provide us with transport, especially those who are working at Shoprite and Checkers. We are suffering. Management please do something for your guards.
*UNAM Library should be accessible to the physically challenged. There used to be a ramp, as well as a lift for which an access card could be obtained. Apologies for a rather belated response but Unam management cannot ignore some people’s basic rights.
*MUNICIPALITY of Windhoek, we, the residents of Babylon, have a problem with the sewerage which is running since June 2012 up till now. The City of Windhoek must do something because it is unhealthy. The sewerage pipe is near Nathaniel Maxuilili Centre. Please hurry up.
*REGRADING is causing confusion. Why should men in uniform be compared? Police officers are doing more than NDF and Prison Service. Police should be graded on a different level.
*WE would like to see who is the new CEO of Rundu. The Rundu Town Council’s chairperson and the management are unprofessional.
*THANK you Erongo Red Mondesa branch, Swakopmund. I reported faulty street lights and they were repaired on the same day. That’s excellent customer service.

*PRESIDENT Hifikepunye Pohamba, your party might not win the local, regional and presidential elections in Grootfontein, because your people at Berg Aukas (married quarters) have been denied the right to electricity from 7 December 2012 up till now. There might be people from the opposition who would confuse people’s minds to ensure that they don’t vote for Swapo. Please do something, otherwise Swapo will lose votes. Remember, we are suffering.
*THE security guards of CIS are not provided with guns, batons or even spray guns. No weapon whatsoever. Female guards are working night shifts alone to top it all. Management please do something. You are endangering the lives of your security guards.
*REGIONAL Commander of NamPol in Caprivi, teach your community policing members that beating up people is not the only way to prevent crime. Those guys are beating up people with knopkieries and using teargas. Shame on them. They must be given guidance so that they know how to handle people.

*IT really is easy to say that Namibia is a safe country to live in when you live in a mansion surrounded by high walls, electric fencing and dogs. What about those who live in council houses or shacks? We are the targets of criminals and rapists. Let’s be serious fellow Namibians.
*THE manager of Otjindjerese Conservancy, your conservancy is not working like the Otjihungu Conservancy. We are sitting with the problem of elephants. Make sure that something is done to solve this problem.
*GENERAL Sebastiaan Ndeitunga, you are not serious. You had sleepless nights over miniskirts but you are failing to work on the salaries of your members who are helping you to hunt for ladies in miniskirts. Stop cleaning outside while inside is very dirty. Some police officers are no more committed to their work and they are surely not wrong.
*MVA Rundu is very slow with payments. In the past it was moving fast. MVA staff is not visiting the clients. Directors, please get your house in order. We want to pay school fees on time.

*NAMA 2013 was a total disaster. Shame on the presenters. The best thing for you to do is to ask your school fees back. Disappointed viewer.
*NAMAs what a disgrace to listen to on radio. Clearly no rehearsals before the show and with the moderator wanting “to pick up something hopefully not gonorrhea”, a totally tasteless climax to the show. Shame on the organisers and the NBC.
*I WOULD like to congratulate Mushe for him to be chosen as a ‘Best Male Artist of the Year’. My brother you really deserve it. Your music is real. It carries a message and I would like to encourage your fellow musicians to follow your example. Namibian musicians, please don’t enter the music industry with the sole aim of becoming famous but to bring message of hope like Mushe. Mushe teach them a lesson.

*MTC Tango promotions, it’s time that MTC introduces promotions for their contract customers. Not all of us are tango clients. Contract customers should also be given some free data. From a loyal MTC customer.
*PRIME Minister, what is the use of changing to the winter time? Is there any benefit? If time change is aimed at school children it would probably make sense but not for the workers. It does not make any sense. Please reconsider to reverse the time change.
*WHY doesn’t NBC repeat nice movies they use to show in those years like ‘Adventure Inc’, ‘Pensacola’, ‘Queen of Soldiers’, ‘My Three Sisters’, ‘When You Are Mine’ etc. instead of boring movies like ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘M.D.A’, ‘Desperate House Wives’ etc. Please.
*NAMIBIA needs institute of security studies.
Service Please
*MINISTRY of Home Affairs, two mistakes were made. One by myself and one by the ministry. My mistake is the surname which I did not register as a surname on my South West Africa ID. The Ministry of Home Affairs at that time wrote my name as Jairus instead of Julius and the surname as Lasarus. I applied for change of the surname but nothing is happening for eight years now. I do not have a Namibian ID for 23 years and the Ministry of Home Affairs is not producing any result. What can I do?
*WHY does MTC promise services it cannot provide? What is happy hour for if no-one will be able to access the internet? Can you please do away with these nonsensical promises and let us rather use our money as long as we can get the service.

When is the school getting qualified teachers to develop the most vulnerable children. It’s been three years that the school is with unqualified teachers. Minister of Education, please see to it that we get qualified teachers.
