*TO THE GRN and all leaders of our Namibian nation, when do you intend applying yourselves seriously to solving our most critical, top priority, pressing issues that are still negatively affecting more than 1,5 million men, women and children? Poverty, hunger, crime, unemployment, lack of basic shelter and essential services, sickness, and pathetic social benefits to our senior citizens. It is never too late! Start now please!

Youth
*VIVA Elijah Ngurare! We salute you. We want jobs before the next election. Youth, let’s stand together and show up. The President, vice president and secretary general of Swapo, we want jobs and to get married.
*I THINK the SPYL is not well informed about condom distribution in Namibian schools. They have already been in schools since 2002. That’s the year I started teaching, but they are still in schools and I still do not see them being used. It is a silly resolution that was not based on research or facts.
*THE PROBLEM in Namibia is not HIV-Aids, rather it is ignorance and poverty. In the absence of these two, there would not be HIV-Aids. Come on SPYL!
*TO NGURARE, the age to be called a youth is between 16 and 35 years old. So, that means you are not regarded as a youth, you are an adult, please step down and give a chance to the young people, you qualify to be a minister.

*YOUTH at 42? By the time Ngurare’s term ends he will be joining the elders council. Please Ngurare, leave youth politics to the youth and discuss your bread and butter issues in Swapo!

*KAZENAMBO Kazenambo should go on forced leave to attend anger management classes. Things are likely to get tougher as we approach November. President, please help.
*OFFICIAL statement: “Most road deaths are caused by head-on collisions.” If so, GRN must make roads double lanes like Independence Avenue, between Windhoek and Okahandja. Also, intensify police presence and put up cameras. It will go some distance in addressing road fatalities.

Bouquets and Brickbats
*I THINK my Swapo government is ignorant. Just because someone is no longer Swapo, can they not be patron of a school? I never heard of such rubbish. Who pays tax in this country? Is it only Swapo members? Minister Iyambo, you have lost my respect. Education is for all, not just for Swapo. We fought because we did not want discrimination and my own government is discriminating against its people. Shame on you!
*MINISTER Kazenambo Kazenambo, you are at it again. Throwing your temper tantrums. There are important national issues on which you could spend your energy rather than wasting them on digging up Ngurare’s background. It is also high time that you go for treatment on anger management.
*THANK you for the traffic control on Sunday September 9. We drove from Okahandja to Otjiwarongo. We observed drivers really limit their speed. This is what we need on our roads. Job well done!
*TOM Alweendo, as director general of the National Planning Commission you are part and parcel of the system that let Namibia perform badly, according to the World Economic Forum index. So, you should know better. Speeches without action won’t help.
*I JUST don’t understand this thing of paying TV licenses. I have seen no change since we started paying TV licenses. We are just watching the same things.
*EVERYDAY in the newspaper people talk about increasing of subsidies for soldiers, the police and others so that they can afford to buy houses. You guys must think twice, you are already employed. What about other poor Namibians, those who have Grade 12 like you but are roaming around. Don’t you feel pity for them?
*THAT Swapo promised free education was nothing but a vote catching exercise. Must their exercise work next time for a government which is unable to eradicate poverty in a rich country, with a population far less than the population of Soweto, a township in Johannesburg?
*I WOULD really have appointed Kazenambo Kazenambo for the presidency if I was the president of this country! Viva Kazenambo! You are a true leader. The Namibian, I hope you will publish my feelings.

*AFRICAN politics is not about economic development but it is hitting the jackpot for ‘brotherlisation’ (nepotism) and in our case to reward those who were involved in the ‘struggle’, making them even life long members of the Cabinet despite their performance.
*THE PENNILESS and the pitiful political puppies, is it really their own fight or are there mighty political power gurus behind them? Have they been promised milk and honey by their political gurus? If so, do they realise the disunity and the embarrassment they are causing in the ruling party? Think twice before rushing for the promised milk and honey.

*CITY of Windhoek, I applied for my house plan at the end of July but until now every time I enquire, the answer is still in circulation. Please try to improve your service.
*ROBERT Mugabe clinic, I do not know what is the meaning of nursing nowadays. I went there on September 1 for family planning. The nurse I found there looked angry and she didn’t even greet me. She just wrote the health passport and after that prepared her injection and used sign language to tell us to move. When she is injecting you there is no ‘sorry’ or using any words. She worked as if she was injecting a dead body. Why is this happening?

Education matters
*TELL me is Haihambo Primary School a government school or Swapo school? How on earth do the community say they don’t want Hamutenya to be the patron of the school because he is not a member of Swapo? Namibia is not only for Swapo party members but for all Namibians. Please people think about how to develop the country and leave those funny and stupid things for kids. Where are we going Namibia?
*WHY is the Ministry of Education not looking out for schools deep down in the bush? A primary school which has been there for more than 20 years without a library!
Civil Servants
*ARE Namibian teachers cowards? All over Africa teachers are striking for better salaries but not in Namibia. Teachers just sit back and take whatever little they get. It is a disgrace how teachers are treated really and they are responsible for educating others. In the end we will continue working for peanuts while those educated by us prosper. Teachers are the ones running to cash loans when the month is too long for the salary they earn. They are the ones in deep debt just to be able to keep their heads above water. When are the teachers in Namibia going to say, enough is enough? We are striking!
*PLEASE explain to us Napwu members who the owners of the union are? It seems it’s not us but the secretary general Nevonga. Can the Napwu leadership explain to us why NUNW SG Kaaronda is restricted from coming to the congress and is he so dangerous that Nevonga ordered tight security at the congress? Napwu wake up please!
*MINISTER of Education, I’m a mother of eight. I submitted my diploma at the end of April. Up to now no salary increment or back pay paid. Why and when? My kids are nearly dying of hunger!

*WHAT are the nurses in the Land of the Brave doing to prove that they can do things for themselves? They are just being nose-led by the so-called trade unionists even in matters of their profession. When will they start holding meetings?

*READING about parents, that can’t/won’t pay N$3 a week or consider that as being “milked” makes me sick. Education is the greatest present parents can give their children. So stop moaning! Drink a bottle of alcohol or other beverages less and do something for your child’s school. We as parents or grandparents painted many a classroom. Best to see how it’s done, just have look at Namib Primary School in Swakop. Think about it. Your children are your responsibility. You put them on this planet, so look after them.
*GRADE 10 learners of Kuisebmond without a mathematics teacher! It is a crime to let these learners write exams. They will fail due to no fault of their own and no official will be called to task.
