Food for thought
*THE ONLY thing that will keep me smiling when I leave this world is to have seen Namibia a shining nation on top of all nations in the world! However, when I hear stories such as what happened at Haihambo Primary School, my heart goes flat, and the hope fades. Where have we come from? Is history repeating itself? Where are we going as a nation divided on political lines! This is primitive politics practised in Namibia whose constitution has been hailed the best in the world! This nation is on the verge of collapsing. The head of state and the leaders of government are called to order!

*ST JOSEPH High School management, stop harassing school kids for outstanding school fees by sending kids home to come get school and hostel fees. We still have two months to pay off our money so that our kids please attend school with peace.
*LEARNERS at Ozizi Combined School are locked out. The school starts at 08h00 and the gate is locked at 07h40. The assembly start at 07h45, which late does the principal refer to? Is this fair? What happened to children’s right to education? Does the management consider the distance we walk to school? It is so hurtful to go back home early or sit in class doing nothing because the teachers are also locked out. Minister Iyambo help us!
*TEACHERS in our beloved country are not stupid or cowards. I do not think they need to go on strike. All they have to do is to teach according to their income. If your salary is high, you put everything in your teaching and preparation and you aim high.
*WE, the parents of kids schooling at Duinesig Combined School in Grade 7 are appealing to the Minister of Eduction to help us. Our Grade 7 learners (some) are chased away from school because of not enough places. Sir, you visited this school recently. Did the Principal talk about this problem with you? There are three Grade 7 classes and only two Grade 8 classes. Does that make sense? Where are we going to get places for our kids this time of the year? Please Sir, save the future leaders. Rescue them from being street kids comrade. We beg you.

*REFUSING Kaaronda to participate in the congress because of his relentless efforts to salvage government employees’ abused money, is an insult to all the public workers. Nevonga and his allies think that civil servants are stupid enough not to care about their monies and it is only Kaaronda who cares! Re-electing Nevonga is a clear testimony that public workers are not serious at all and Namibia cannot prosper with people of such careless mentality!
*WITH reference to the dilapidated Neser House building in Windhoek’s CBD – Is the Ministry of Works not working anymore? Broken gates, litter and general neglect, coupled with vagrants who have moved onto these premises, ironically located opposite a primary school. The same goes for the large block of flats at Baines Plain – which is looking even worse than Neser House. But all balconies sport a TV dish...
*WE love you Kazenambo Kazenambo! Don’t think if the others hate you and talk about you it’s all of us. I respect you as a leader and true Namibian.
*THE Americans have tasted a dose of their own medicine in Libya. They have reaped what they sowed.
*DEAR lawmakers, with alcohol abuse being a serious social problem, is it not time to stop companies using, the “proud to be a Namibian” slogan and our national flag when advertising alcohol? Why should our nation’s pride being associated with advertising alcohol which is doing more harm than good to our people, especially considering the fact that most of these products are not even manufactured locally?

*IF PEDESTRIANS are to be charged for jaywalking is it because the police are scared of taxi drivers?
*YES Johanna Benson made us proud. Thanks to the GRN for the house and the money. But can business people, like the car dealers, also donate a car? She will be happy.
*A HOUSE for Johanna Benson provided by the GRN? Thumbs up, this is really motivational.
– Otto
*GOLDEN and silver lady, congratulations Johanna Benson! You made me proud seriously and inspired me and I already began with training on my own.

*OH MY! Guess what? If this honourable KK has been crying for 22 years every moment one sings a national anthem, then someone please put up an intravenous Dextrose five per cent or general rehydration solution for him before it is too late. An injury to him is truly an injury to him alone.
*WHAT I don’t understand is the politicians of this country only show much care to the people who live in Katutura when it’s voting time but right now they just relax and don’t even care how people are living there but wait and see when it’s election time. Please people let’s not be deceived again.
*TATE Kazenambo Kazenambo, you are an intellectual and not a politician. You are the only politician whose inner conscience is still alive. Be there to educate others. I hope one day they will listen to you.
*THERE is nothing wrong with Kazenambo Kazenambo and Hage Geingob. Ngurare (42) who is on the ticket of the youth use our youth to stand up against the leaders. It’s time that he pave way for younger leaders instead of trying to become a minister.
*TIM Ekandjo, you have NO RIGHT to dictate to me what music I listen to.
*THE PRESIDENT’S motorcade is a danger to other motorists, especially on the road to the airport. We are not aware, and by the time we hear the sirens, there’s a car travelling at 160 km/hour in the opposite direction. One is lucky if there’s a space to swerve your car! Please, can the road be blocked off until this motorcade passes so that we don’t put our lives in danger? I’d rather be late for a flight than sorry!
*MINISTRY of Home Affairs, I am not happy with your services. My son applied for the addition of a second name on his birth certificate in December 2010, but it didn’t come. He reapplied in January this year, but it still didn’t come. He is in Grade 12, and must apply for tertiary education, but he can’t because he doesn’t have a birth certificate. Please improve your service.
*FINALLY some medical aids have woken up to stop dispensing doctors. They have dictated medicine expenditure via their inflated medicine claims! It was all about making lots of money!
*PRESIDENT Pohamba, the members you appoint for the commission of inquiry into health matters have no basic clue neither background of Namibian health activities. Let me brief you. Nurses are walking long distances while nurses homes are occupied by taxi drivers and shopkeepers. Transport for health workers were abolished post independence, nurses colleges which were adjacent to hospitals were taken to Unam. What I advise you is to compare how things were done pre-independence until somewhere around 1998. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of the current and past situations.
*SWAPO has the tactic of divide and rule! I’m referring to the three mobilisers of the opposition parties who defected to rejoin Swapo saying that the opposition has lost vision but they are the ones who were telling us that Swapo is corrupt and has lost vision! Gentlemen, who is fooling who? What were you promised? Who will ever trust you to become leaders again? Good luck to the three of you.

*WHAT is going on with Nored Ondangwa? The power goes off too much. They must change their name to No Electricity.
*CENORED Otjiwarongo, are you aware that half of Hage Geingob avenue street lamps are off during the night?
*NAMIBIANS must learn to differentiate between good and bad. How can you post a body of a severely injured accident victim on Facebook? Think about the deceased’s children, wife and close relatives. That’s a violation of a dead body without the family’s consent. Not easy to forget the naked mangled body of your dad which was displayed and everybody comments.

*THE PEOPLE who closed the school at Omutwewomunhu are against development. They must differentiate between Swapo and Government. Hidipo Hamutenya was only contributing to the development of the school and he was not campaigning.
*POLICE Regional Commander of the Hardap Region, did you know that your members at the Maltahohe police don’t have water and electricity since last Thursday. How will the members survive without water?
*MTC, Opuwo is a fast developing town and we are opening businesses to bring development closer to the people! How does one run a business where you can only hear half of the conversation because the line keeps cutting.
*BACK in 2002 the Government commissioned a pre-feasibilty study for the Windhoek to Rehoboth rail commuter services. Nothing happened as a result. Many Rehobothers have died on the ‘Road of death’. Do they really care? Or is it a case of who votes for us wins?
