Action Please
*MINISTER of Health, are you aware that there are no radiographers at Katutura X-Ray department as well as radiologists? Patients are waiting for months to have CT scans done. This prolongs their treatments. Act before something happens.
*ALBERT Kawana should not try to fool the nation. It is very simple. If I manage to get N$100 million I will of course manage to return N$37 million after a couple of years with the interest that I have earned. I will wait another couple of years and return another portion of the interest and in the end, I am still a millionaire. Please announce the names of people involved!
*MAYOR of Ondangwa, can you release the CEO, the manager for technical services and the building inspector. Pick n Pay building collapsed and people lost lives. This is a new building, was it not inspected? They should immediately resign or you should fire them. Now they have exposed your town to legal claims and it’s us the rate payers who will suffer. We are tired of incompetence in Ondangwa. It’s high time that heads roll!
n VACANCY! There is a vacancy for the next first lady. Submit all applications with Hage Geingob or Swapo central committee members. Omakeeeeee!
Food for Thought
*OUR government getting a 10 percent share from Husab Uranium? What a joke! Remember that it’s our resources.
*IS it true that some of the ODC’s N$100 million was recovered in some unknown countries and it just landed on the government’s table or did our big guys decide that they will start paying back the money they have taken corruptly. Please people stop your foolishness.
*IF you care about baby dumping, tackle the source of the problem. We girls don’t make ourselves pregnant! Men and boys must learn to stop pressuring us for unwanted sex. Nurses in clinics must be more helpful and not judge us when we come to ask for help with birth control options. Not all of us can take Deprovera injections. Help! We break our hearts to lose our babies but we are desperate!
Bouquets and Brickbats
*THANK you to our GRN for giving ARVs to the people living with HIV. I salute our national leaders!
*ONE Africa TV, you always show the same movies! Saturday’s movie has been screened three times!
*SWAPO can be grateful that the fashion police did not have a vehicle this past weekend. There would have been mayhem with all the dodgy outfits and I doubt any voting would have taken place!
*NAMIBIANS do not get excited and be fooled by the Swapo congress. This is the same old wine in new bottles. This is the same party which created policies for its people which made its people poorer, unemployed, homeless, and landless and work for low salaries. Do not expect any change from this party.
*THOSE who built the complex that collapsed in Ondangwa must be punished.
*I HEARD this last week: “The higher the skirt/dress, the lower the intelligence.”
*ERONGO Red, pathetic! You can expect major claims for electronic equipment damaged because of your pathetic power supply.
*SWAPO Congress dominating NBC’s schedule was “something else”. NBC gets money from taxpayers through government and not from Swapo. Not all taxpayers are for Swapo. Anyway, I hope other parties’ congresses will get their fair share of NBC coverage. We are watching you NBC. We are watching you.
*AIR Namibia says it is bankrupt and refuses to pay decent salaries to its pilots yet the airline can afford to waste money on lavish advertisements, thanking stakeholders for their support during the strike. Surely, a press release and internal document to thank everyone would suffice! Air Namibia, pull up your socks and stop wasting money!
*NBC Sport, isn’t it way too early to be showing these classic sports programmes. A lot of sport activities are still on like Namibia Premier League. Why don’t you cover that and show it on TV. Ever heard of laziness of the highest level?
*NBC is shameless by making Swapo congress its main story instead of the lives lost at Pick n Pay!
Education
*I WONDER if the Minister of Education knows that there are still students whose loans are not yet paid. The officer’s are forever telling us that they will be paid next week. When will that next week come? Do something!
*WE applied for our refund a month ago and to date we got nothing. Unam, what are you doing with our money? When it’s the 15th of every month you get your money without any excuse.
Service Please
*CITY Police, please help! Trucks which may not be on the road after 19h00 drive right through the night in Nelson Mandela Avenue! Thank you for your help! Give them traffic fines!
Suggestion Box
*PRESIDENT Hifikepunye Pohamba, just ban alcohol for one week. You will see the difference in the country!
*THE Namibian team, your newspaper is a powerful platform to reach out to our nation. As part of your social responsibilities may I humbly request you to avail one full page every Monday where the Namibian nation can share the wisdom and grace of God. God bless our nation.
*TOWN councils, please erect speed humps at all four way stops!
Labour
*CIVIL servants just received empty promises! Nantu where are the payments you agreed on?
*NAPWU and its SG must copy the example of how democracy is exercised during congress proceedings from Swapo. They undemocratically hijacked their positions at the Napwu congress.
Politics
*HAGE Geingob’s victory indicates that Swapo is on the verge of entering a stage of intellectual leadership.
*WELL done team Hage! We will salute your victory that belongs to Swapo and democracy. To those who did not make it, we salute you for making the democratic processes stronger. However, resolutions adopted at the fifth Swapo congress must now be implemented.
*I’M glad that Abraham Iyambo didn’t make it. You betrayed the educators of this country. Take your 36 percent increase and entertain yourself.
*I ADMIRE men like Armas Amukwiyu who backed Hage Geingob through thick and thin. That is a principled stand.
*THANK you Kazenambo Kazenambo for your advocacy. Hage Geingob won. You are the next president.
*IN African tradition we know that you cannot be influenced by kids to join a battle. A lesson hopefully learned by Jerry Ekandjo and his team. You were picked by SPYL. A team without ethics.
*NAMIBIA is the only country where the ruling party elections are more exciting that the national ones. We must analyse it seriously!
*ELIJAH Tjitunga Ngurare, how are you going to relate to Hage Geingob from now on because you vilified him so much.
*CONGRATULATIONS Hage Geingob. We want to believe that you will make sure that the upcoming entrepreneurs will benefit fairly from the business funds and not always just the big fish as it has been. Please change the SME bank’s requirements, which only benefits the rich and those with connections. We are tired of poverty. While we are trying to start our own businesses, everything goes only to those who are rich no matter how promising our business plans are. Please encourage the small ones to become bigger and care for them, OK?
Lost and Found
*I, LENGA Shihweka lost my wallet with all my documents in it on my way from Ondangwa to Ongwediva. If found, please SMS or call 081-824 2282.

In and From the Region
*I AM not happy with the manner Cenored in Grootfontein cut off the power while we were listening very attentively to President Hifikepunye Pohamba’s closing statement on December 2. This type of unpatriotic behaviour should cease immediately.
*RESIDENTS of Ruacana and Oshifo are suffering. No banks, not even ATMs. The town and regional authorities must come to our rescue.
*TSUMEB, we are suffering of thirst in town. The municipality is not fair at all. They allocate some erven with electricity and water metres. Why not in other districts?
