Food for Thought
* DEMOCRACY is basic fundamental human rights which are transformed into political demands.
– BAB, Karas!
* GRN vehicles are not meant to provide free transport to the public. We as GRN drivers and officials are sick and tired of insults being hurled to us when we don’t give them lifts. Educate people instead of relying on only punishing officials and drivers.
Bouquets and Brickbats
* MINISTER Kamwi you must feel proud of your nurses at Walvis Bay State Hospital – they look good in their uniforms, they have name tags on and they are friendly! This time they earn my respect!
* I AM very thankful to the NBC for introducing the ‘One on One’ programme. Hon (Kazenambo) Kazenambo and Dr (Ben) Mulongeni really had a hard talk for us viewers to learn from and enjoy.
– Don Kuhanga
* BRAVO KK!
* I WANT to support Comrade Kazenambo because we see you are there for the nation. You say so strongly what you have at heart. Be a true leader of Swapo.
– Horongo
* WHAT is Kazenambo saying? He is more emotional than thoughtful. On NBC, he was supposed to make his point clear; he didn’t!
* DR Mulongeni, your interview with Hon Kazenambo has proven to be a failure. You were not speaking as an independent journalist but as somebody who was sent to denigrate him in public. No wonder you are the member of the Swapo think-tank.
* BEN Mulongeni should be ashamed to call himself a journalist (as) he was clearly speaking on someone’s behalf.
* COMRADE Kazenambo thank you! You spoke your mind. Don’t compromise your principles. However bear in mind that what you did is precisely what your fellow former comrades noticed – that there is no freedom of expression within Swapo and they fell victims to witch-hunts, name-calling and the like. Stand your ground and get fired.
* VIVA Kazenambo – thank you for your honesty.
* THANK you Mr Kazenambo for being a shining star among the dull stars. Keep on shining.
– Kristi.
* ON what grounds is Mulongeni back at NBC? Or are the charges dropped because he is a loyal Swapo member? I mean c’mon! IKI
* I SALUTE Honourable Kazenambo for his open mindedness. He is a role model to the youth. He is showing us that one can still be in Swapo and freely express oneself without fear.
* CONGRATS Mr Kazenambo Kazenambo, you are a man who really speaks his mind – politically, psychologically and socially. Thanks for waking those who were still asleep!
* DR Mulongeni please do not assume that the Namibian nation will ask questions that you, the agent of a certain team, sent you to ask Kazenambo. It is or was clear that you are the agent.
* LONG live Kazenambo Kazenambo on your topic with Dr Ben Mulongeni.
– Ndeshi
* KAZENAMBO Kazenambo must be applauded for his great bravery, heroism and fearlessness.
– AA
* THERE is no freedom of speech in Swapo. Let’s all be aware of that! Everyone who speaks his/her mind becomes a target of villification and the next step is to push him/her out of the Swapo political activities slowly but surely. NBC is being used, as usual, by Swapo to do their dirty work. Today Hon Kazenambo Kazenambo is a target. Please give it up. Freedom of speech is our right!!
* VIVA Kazenambo Kazenambo for your talk on One on One. I am Oshiwambo speaking!
* TELLING it like it is: Swapo my party please boot Kazenambo as early as now before he causes havoc in the party.
* HONOURABLE Kazenambo I think you need to go on a course where people are trained on how to talk or answer questions in public. You embarrassed me. It seems like you wanted to fight Mulongeni because you did not have answers to questions.
* MR Mulongeni how is it possible to be a moderator for the same company you have defrauded? Mr. Kazenambo well done!
* I AM very concerned about the NBC TV programme ‘One on One’ on Wednesday. The interviewee was attacked by the interviewer through innuendo and subtle accusations of hibernation. My question to this interviewer is: Are you looking to get your post back at the NBC?
* NBC please stick to Ferdinand Molale as presenter of One on One. Dr Mulongeni must retire as he does not have it
* MR. Kazenambo Kazenambo I now have a newfound respect for you. The way you handled Dr Mulongeni was very admirable.
* THANK you Honourable Kazenambo for showing a systematic and inclusive formula towards the building of our nation on One on One. You have made it clear to every Namibian that the majority cannot claim to be uniting the nation while they are more equal than others.
– JXN – Gobabis
* THE interview on One on One with Mr Kazenambo was so wrong. It seems to me the presenter was more interested in portraying Mr Kazenambo as a bad, undisciplined person. The questions sounded like attacks while the presenter didn’t want to listen to the answers, even going as far as finishing the sentences for the man. If that is journalism, I don’t want to be one.
* VIVA Comrade Kazenambo Kazenambo, viva. You are the bravest Namibian patriot that I have ever come across. Not even opposition party leaders are as brave as you are. You have shown Dr Mulongeni that you are not a deputy minister by luck. Dr Mulongeni tried to make you look bad but you showed him a clean pair of heels.
* THANK you NBC for showing the nation tonight on the One on One programme that Hon Kazenambo is a principled man of high calibre.
– The Patriot.
* I WISH we had leaders like Kazenambo Kazenambo. He presents facts and doesn’t beat around the bush. It seems somebody was behind that interview on One on One. Some questions were irrelevant.
– Andrew Uutsi
* WHAT a true true Namibian leader. Viva Kazenambo Kazenambo
* MR K Kazenambo I salute you for being a true Namibian. You are the meaning of real politics. We are here for you.
– UHongora J.O
* THE Opinion of J Beukes: Quite correct and look at the results of all the Big Four’s ministries: All a big mess!
Rest in Peace
* I AM speechless at the number of people who flocked to the funeral of late Mr Ponhele Ya France after the pain and shame he went through. Where were all these people in time of need? I just hope some at least apologised specially about the NBC saga while Mr Ya France was alive. Who was behind the dismissal letter anyway? Now I can see and start to believe there is life after death. Let us live like true Christians. My deepest sympathy to the wife and children and entire Namibian nation touched by the death of this brave man who tirelessly fought for fellow Namibians.
Running the Show
* CONGRATULATIONS MPs! Now none of you ‘honourables’ have to pay tax on your parliamentary job (where some of you don’t contribute an iota, in fact some of you even sleep there!) while the rest of the population lose about 30 per cent on their income in tax. You set good examples, ‘honourables’!
* HON Prime Minister (Nahas Angula) how else should we as public servants not see GIPF early claims as self-serving if politicians were the only people who could borrow from this fund to extend or renovate their homes.
* PLEASE Members of Parliament give us the right to our pension as our security to get loans to own our properties.
City Fathers Please...
Gravel can make streets slippery
* IT hasn’t rained for some time now but streets in Hochlandpark have not been cleaned. Why are we paying a monthly amount for such services? We pay workers weekly to sweep up gravel in front of our houses which poses a risk for cars that can can skid. The gravel also damages the road surface which will cost the City of Windhoek a lot to repair. We pay for nothing.
* CITY Fathers please just programme those robots at busy intersections during peak hour.
– Frustrated motorist.
* SELLING a house over a municipal debt of N$7 000 borders on criminal. The CoW does not care and deserves to be challenged. This happened in Khomasdal.
Ndeshi & Jakes
* HAHAHA ..Ndeshi and Jakes of 17 Feb! Namibians, don’t then resort to alcohol for fertility solutions. But rather keep away from it to avoid unwanted ones.
In and From the Regions
* MUNICIPALITY of Okahandja or Okahandja Police who gave permission for streets to be closed whenever there is funeral. How many people are dying in our town and how many streets will be closed? Imagine a street closed for a whole week or two! Please name the act which manadates you to close the street. If closing is illegal, take action please.
* POLICE of Usakos please do something about the stock theft on nearby farms Tumib Post 8 and around.
It’s not legal
* I AM a resident of Rundu concerned about the illegal selling of marijuana/ganja at famous spots. Please the police must take measures. Even uniformed soldiers are trading in it while they supposed to lead by example.
– L Lucas
Crime and Punishment
* GIVE a severe lesson to criminals. Please lawmakers act now! Cars found transporting stolen goods must be confiscated and forfeited to the State.
* AUSTRALIA outlawed guns only to see an increase in armed robberies as citizens could not protect themselves. It will be 10 times worse here!
* PLEASE publish figures on how many firearms are stolen from police officers or explain how military firearms are used during robberies? Forget about disarming law- abiding people and rather get your own house in order!
General
* WHO is Chris Smith? Does it matter? Even if he is a dog in disguise he is a most brilliant analyst. Keep going Chris!
* ANYONE know where I can donate old newspapers? Please I don’t want throw them away.
Education
* I TEND to agree with some people that are alluding that our country suffers from a leadership crisis. Why on earth are our various education regions governed by different policies eg knock off times for teachers. Some 13h00 and 14h00, 15h00 and 16h00 and to those who knock off at 16h00 do they enjoy lunch too? Nantu can’t defend them for fear of losing its bread. Northern teachers were forced to accept 15h00 and 16h00. Most poor teachers are ‘yes’ men, many of them qualified through distance learning and thus lack skills to negotiate for their wellbeing. It is time for the ministry to stop blaming teachers for messy performance but to blame itself for its automatic transfer of learners.
Service Please
* I WOULD like to ask the Namibian government to improve the service at Home Affairs. It’s not fair that foreign workers should have to bribe with money just to get their legal documents. Foreigners are investing a lot of money in this country.
NBC
* PLEASE NBC we want you to read news in Oshiwambo every day.
* WHAT is wrong? There has been no NBC here in Grootfontein for five days?

* TO the person who was asking help from the Government to help with companies that keep temps for more than three years (18 February 2010): my advice to you is don’t count on the Government because this is my fourth year at Justice as a temp and nothing is being done about this.
