n THE gap between rich and poor will be difficult to close in Namibia because we have the economic system of a developed country while Namibia is developing. Exorbitant benefits go to the highly paid in both the private sector and the State. The rich become richer at the expense of the poor! Imagine a car allowance higher than the salary of a qualified teacher! Namibia needs an economic revolution to maintain peace!
n THE Scramble for Africa has started in all earnest. How can precious drinking water in an arid country be supplied to mines and the taxpayers have to pay for desalination plants! Is that investment? I’d rather live without investment then. Please come up with answers!

Election Fever
n I DO not want to stand in long queues on polling day. Is there no way I can cast an early vote like they do in America?

n WE have just been informed that a large number of elderly people are being registered for birth certificates at Omundaungilo. We think that these are Angolans being prepared to vote in Namibia.
n WHAT is happening in constituencies along the Namibian and Angola border is to register the Angolan people to come and cast their votes in Namibia, is it allowed this year? Go to Omundaungilo and watch out how the elderly Angolans are lining up. If they are Namibians where have they been?
n IF it is true that there are Electoral Commission officials who also serve in the structures of Swapo, those with such evidence must bring it forward and the offending officials must be removed from their post. The EC is too crucial a body to be dragged through the mud and it must be beyond reproach.

Health Matters
n EMMA please help. I am HIV positive and belong to Swapo Support Group in 5 Rand Camp. We were promised jobs, monthly allowances, food every month, brick houses, electricity and water at every house, but that was not true, they gave us once food only and not even enough for two days. Please help.
