STORM DESTROYS SCHOOL
Heavy rain, accompanied by strong windstorms, fell in some parts of the northern central regions and destroyed many buildings, such as classrooms, houses and churches, especially those constructed by communities.
Oshana and Omusati regions are the worst affected as seen above where some children from Okafitukauvale village inspect the damage to three classrooms by the strong winds. The school principal Josephina Shipopyeni said the three classrooms were for Grades 5, 6 and 7. They are not sure where the learners will be hosted when schools resume.
