Dumped baby rescued

On Friday morning, a baby boy was found alive inside a plastic bag dumped in a riverbed in the Hakahana informal settlement of Katutura.

The City of Windhoek Emergency Services rescued him and took him to the Katutura State Hospital. In the photo, Uarongarisa Humavindu of the City of Windhoek Emergency Services attends to the baby inside the ambulance.
