Kudos To Hospital Staff

ON 14 June, our mom was admitted to the state hospital, ward 3b. We experienced a very warm welcome at the ward.

We felt comfortable to leave her in the capable hands of the night staff.
The next day, during visiting hours, the family members by her bed side, alerted the staff about her deteriorating condition.
Without hesitation, the staff responded with intent and determination to resuscitate her.
It was clearly evident that the staff were committed to safe her life.
Despite recent unfavourable reports about the performance of the staff at the hospital, we were privileged to see a different side.
Staff were kind, helpful, accommodating and friendly at all times.
We would like to thank Dr Van Wyk and staff for trying to save our mom. We trust that all patients will be treated similarly and that the powers that be provide an enabling environment for the staff.
May our mom rest in peace.
